This Moment
What I see is my niece and my dad. What I think is I should have used the flash. What I feel is it doesn’t even matter.
.
It’s not the quality of the photo
that draws me in;
what I so cherish
is the moment that it captured.

These kinds of photos are so precious. And you’re right; it’s all about capturing the moment.

This kind is definitely my favorite. I didn’t even remember taking that picture, and here is this interaction between them, preserved. And someday she’ll be my age, and she can see this photo, this tiny moment that she couldn’t possibly remember.

Love her expression–loving her Granddaddy.

It is sweet, isn’t it, how she turns in to him.

Absolutely beautiful! I to believe that it is the moment that matters and not the quality of the photo. I mean really, we can all take the time to tweak a photo, but it’s no use if it doesn’t spark a feeling. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for commenting! It is nice to be able to look back on these little moments, isn’t it? And some of my most cherished photos are blurry, or low light or contain any number of flaws, but that doesn’t even matter.
